Jaclyn Fraser

WJHA Coordinator of Academic Performance

Jaclyn joined the True North Youth Foundation (TNYF) in 2013 as a part-time instructor for the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Academy (WJHA) program. During this time, she attended the University of Manitoba and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English. Jaclyn’s passion for community involvement and working with youth was a great fit within the TNYF, and helped her transition into a full-time position in 2019. Currently, she serves as the WJHA Coordinator of Academic Performance.

Outside of work, she has volunteered with Klinic Community Health’s Sexual Assault Crisis Program (SACP) and other crisis programs, providing in-person and over-the-phone counselling. Jaclyn’s love for sports started at a young age by playing AA minor hockey as well as high school and summer hockey, and playing soccer year-round on a premier team. She now hopes to foster similar positive sport experiences for youth by helping coach the WJHA female minor teams.
