Camp Manitou recognizes service clubs

Prior to the True North Youth Foundation assuming operations of Camp Manitou in 2014, seven service clubs – Cosmopolitan Club, Kinsmen Club, Kiwanis Club, Lions Club, Optimist Club, Rotary Club, and YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg – ran the camp and impacted thousands of youth starting in 1930. To acknowledge those many years of hard work in developing the camp and creating a place of growth for Manitoba youth, Camp Manitou recognized those service clubs on July 11 with a special plaque outside the Travis Price Centre lodge.
