Golf 4 Project 11 celebrates 10th anniversary

This year marked the 10th anniversary of the Golf 4 Project 11 tournament.

The event, organized by Lisa Rowe, Kathryn Heidinger, and Christie Houston, is held each year to honour and remember their friend Christy O’Dowda, who died by suicide in 2016.

As the tournament has continued to grow, Lisa says it’s encouraging to see the impact made through their partnership with Project 11.

“If there had been programs like this when we were young, we feel that maybe it would have had an impact on our classmates as well,” Lisa said.
