WJHA helps Ukrainian newcomers adjust to life in Canada

Within the last few years, the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Academy (WJHA) has seen an increase of Ukrainian newcomers coming into the program due to the conflict in Ukraine. The WJHA has helped Ukrainian students settle into their new schools and communities by providing mentorship and after-school programming at no cost to participants. These opportunities have helped Ukrainian students form friendships and succeed academically while learning hockey.
