It’s all about the kids

Lorraine Koch started selling 50/50 tickets at Winnipeg Jets games in 2013 because she’d “seen the growth from kids in all of the Youth Foundation’s programs,” and wanted to do her part. Koch speaks fondly of the ‘regulars’ in her section who only buy from her, either out of superstition or as she puts it because ‘they have some of the biggest hearts and are just some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.”
